NodesDot Terms of Service / Syarat Perkhidmatan

1. Overview & Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of NodesDot (the "Service"), published and operated in Malaysia. By downloading, accessing, or playing NodesDot, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Eligibility & Minors
- You must be at least 13 years old to use NodesDot.
- Under the Malaysian Age of Majority Act 1971, users aged 13–17 must have the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms.
3. Pure Skill Strategy & No Gambling Policy
- Skill-Based Strategy: NodesDot is a turn-based board game derived from Go / Weiqi / Baduk. Match outcomes are determined entirely by player skill and strategic moves.
- No Real-Money Gambling: NodesDot does not offer gambling, wagers, or real-money payouts under the Malaysian Common Gaming Houses Act 1953 and Betting Act 1953.
- In-game ELO ratings, leaderboard positions, stone skins, and visual themes hold zero monetary value and cannot be traded, sold, or redeemed for cash or real-world goods.
4. Free Service & Virtual Items
- NodesDot is free to play. Cosmetic board themes, stone colors, and profile frames are granted under a personal, non-exclusive, revocable license for in-game enjoyment.
5. Fair Play & Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use unauthorized third-party AI engines, bots, auto-clickers, or exploit glitches to gain an unfair advantage in matches.
- Engage in harassment, hate speech, threats, offensive usernames, or abuse in live match chats.
- Attempt unauthorized access to server infrastructure, database tables, or other player accounts.
- Submit false or malicious moderation reports against other users.
Violations may result in warnings, temporary matchmaking suspensions, rating resets, or permanent account bans.
6. Intellectual Property (Copyright Act 1987)
All software code, UI designs, board graphics, animations, sound effects, and the NodesDot trademark are protected under the Copyright Act 1987 of Malaysia and international intellectual property laws. Classical Go game mechanics belong to the public domain.
7. Account Termination & Deletion
- You may permanently delete your account at any time in-app via Settings > Delete Account.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or compromise community integrity.
8. Governing Law & Malaysian Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia (including the Contracts Act 1950 and Consumer Protection Act 1999). Any legal disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Malaysia.
Ringkasan Syarat Perkhidmatan (Bahasa Malaysia)
- Had Umur: Pengguna mestilah berumur sekurang-kurangnya 13 tahun. Pemain di bawah 18 tahun memerlukan kebenaran ibu bapa/penjaga sah mengikut Akta Umur Dewasa 1971.
- Bukan Perjudian: Permainan strategi tulen berasaskan kemahiran. Tiada unsur perjudian wang sebenar, pertaruhan, atau ganjaran tunai. Penarafan ELO dan tema visual tidak mempunyai nilai wang.
- Integriti: Dilarang menggunakan bot, perisian AI tidak sah, manipulasi keputusan, gangguan, atau ucapan kebencian.
- Hak Cipta: Kod perisian, reka bentuk UI, dan grafik dilindungi oleh Akta Hakcipta 1987 Malaysia.
- Pemadaman Akaun: Boleh dipadamkan terus pada bila-bila masa di Settings > Delete Account.
- Undang-Undang: Ditadbir sepenuhnya oleh Undang-Undang Malaysia dan bidang kuasa Mahkamah Malaysia.
